I would side with Anna because, being as young as she is she doesn't need to go through all the pain she does for her sister. Sara loves Anna but she defends what she believes is what is best as a mother for both Anna and Kate. Campbell Alexander is also doing what he feels is best for Anna cause Sara often doesn't listen to Anna.
